Convert WebP or PNG to JPG without uploading
Create a real JPEG file and decide what happens to transparent pixels.
A rename is not a conversion
Changing .webp to .jpg changes a filename. It does not change the encoded image data. A proper conversion decodes the source and re-encodes it in the output format. The converter offers a downloadable file using the format the browser actually produced.
Choose the transparency background
JPEG cannot represent transparency. A transparent logo needs a solid background when converted to JPEG. Choose a background color in the image converter. For a transparent output, use PNG or WebP instead. Inspect the edges of logos and text before using the result.
Use JPEG quality carefully
A quality setting of 80 is a starting point for comparison, not a guarantee of visual quality or a specific file size. Repeated lossy conversions can degrade detail. Keep the source, export once where possible, and compare the result at the size people will actually view it.
Know the browser export limits
This converter accepts static JPG, PNG and WebP images, up to 20 MB and 25 million decoded pixels. It does not promise animation, original metadata or color-profile preservation. If an output format is unsupported by the browser, check the actual exported format shown in the result.
